Marian Herrera nació el 2 de noviembre del 2000 en Bocas del Toro, Panamá. Actualmente vive con su madre y hermanos en la capital de Costa Rica. Su amor por la escritura nació a la edad de ocho años, creando cuentos e historias ficticias más para sí misma que para cualquier otra persona. Comenzó a publicar fanfictions en páginas de internet, pero su popularidad creció significativamente al publicar la novela «Spotter» en Wattpad durante el año 2013, bajo el apodo de DynamiteExplosive, a los 12 años de edad.

En este momento, la autora cumple con sus obligaciones como estudiante universitaria mientras mantiene viva su pasión por la literatura al escribir el último libro de la trilogía Spotter.
