Not a very disciplined way of seeing stories through to the end.) and to just celebrate the joy of words.

My library contains books on ships, chocolate, swords, murder mysteries, folk lore, myth, fantasy and all sorts of things. I am a jackdaw. I love to read abou

I had a huge chunk written on it but wasn't happy with it. So I set it aside, and now I think I know where I went wrong, so I'm in the process of fixing that. I want to make sure I create a sequel worthy of the original. My, that sounds pretentious, I mean, rather, that a lot of people seem to have liked the first one, and who wants to be the author who wrote a book that people were like, "Wow, loved the first one, but boy, the second one is hideous!"(less)

Continuing the journey – England Installment 3: Sleeping Happy

Sso.  Transportation is out of the way.   But where do you lay your lovely head?

For mum and I, hotels are usually the cheapest and most convenient we can find because we cannot stand camping another night in a row, or because if we skip camping and drive well after dark, we can position ourselves to launch to our next cool thing to do.

The UK has some of the coolest looking hotels.

We decided to real

“Do you know the myth, that one should never eat the food of faery, or be forever trapped. That is true, in its way. To eat or drink of the things of faery is to taste of something so uncommon, so blessed and lovely, that one is forever spoiled. Mortals who taste us either stay with us forever, or spend their lives wishing for what they'd experienced. They search for the taste, the feeling, the joy, but find them not in human things. Some are fortunate enough to find one of us who will take them into service, but most of them pine away, unable to enjoy what they have for the longing of what they do not.”
Cindy Lynn Speer, Once Upon a Curse
