I see from your book list/reviews you have trodden the same path as me. Started out as an indie author now pubbed by Lake Union. Congrats! (I'm still waiting for an Amazon imprint to call). I just finished 'Postcards' and loved it. My question is did you crack open the champagne when Amazon's Lake Union came calling? :)

Yes, there has been a quantity of champagne consumed over the last year - on the deal, publication and then it hitting the number 1 slot in the UK and Australia! It's all been very exciting so far. And my second book THE THING ABOUT CLARE is out on 1st December so I'm hoping to be able to do it all over again!

“He never wanted any of my friends round. I had plenty of friends when we first got married, but if they came to visit when he was at home, he’d be rude to them and make them feel uncomfortable. So, eventually, they made excuses and stopped coming.”

“But remember, before you rush to judgement, that all mothers are ultimately driven by the same engine, despite their differing makes and models. We are all just doing what we think is best for our children.”
