After wasting close to 30 years of his life on Wicca and a life of paganism, Tim, now in his 50s, came to know Messiah in 1998. Since then, he has done as much as possible to make up for those wasted years. A disabled US Navy Desert Storm veteran and a widower, he lives in Texas with a pack of critters. When he is at home busy pounding out more Sci-Fi on his laptop, his time is taken up serving his cats, the LORD, and his dogs--not quite in that order (but don't tell the cats). ...more

Coffee. Massive quantities of coffee. Huh? Oh, right. I get to have that just by being a truck driver.

Er, I dunno. Creating worlds. Destroying worlds. Creating creatures. Creating lives. Making them dance to my own tunes.

Except that the characters in my last novel took on a life of their own, and told me what to write. So be careful. They are crafty little blighters, just waiting for your caffeine deprived mind to wander just enough so they can take over!(less)

Loud music. I highly recommend Shinedown's "Sound of Madness" and making your own mosh pit. *blinks* Well, individual results might vary.

Usually I switch projects and work on something frivolous. I have an "ideas" file that I pull out from time to time, grab one at random, and fuss with.

I do a lot of "what if?" scenarios. What if someone figured out how to make a faster-than-light drive fueled with hot pastrami sandwiches? Would they have to be Kosher? Would you need the pickle on the side? Chips? Rye or pumpernickel? Mayo or mustard? Would it prang if someone accidentally put ketchup on it, vice mustard? Would a Reuben work just as well? Perhaps make the ship go faster?

What if I'm not really answering this, but some other writer is writing about me writing about this? In an infinite number of universes, somewhere out there is another author writing about me writing this, and writing about y'all reading it.

This all brings us back to the "Sound Of Madness"... *twitch*

Whoah!

So I have not touched my blog since July of 2014. I almost missed posting anything for 2015. Er...

What has happened since my last post? Got me. I didn't read it. I put out a 3rd anthology of shorts called Will Write SciFi for Food III. You know the drill on that. Go buy a copy for your Kindle, Nook, or iPad at whatever eBook site you usually use to help with your reading addiction.

I fiddled a bi
