Let’s face it: If cissexuals didn’t have a subconscious sex, then sex reassignment would be far more common than it is. Women who wanted to succeed in the male-dominated business world would simply transition to male. Lesbians and gay men

This is nonsense -- the above paragraph assumes that transitioning is easily accessible, void of negative side-effects, and effective in the sense that merely taking some pills for a couple of months is sufficient to let a person be seen as the other gender.
None of that is actually true. An average cis man cannot for example take pills for a couple of months, and then be seen by the world the way the average woman is.
I genuinely think many people WOULD transition for a period just as an experiment in order to learn about what it's like to be a different gender if it was easy, side-effect free and effective.
If I could take a magic pill, and for the next month everyone I meet would see me the way they see an average woman, rather than an average man, I'd be happy to try that out, and I think many people would. But that's not an option that ACTUALLY exists.

“We need to reclaim the word 'feminism'. We need the word 'feminism' back real bad. When statistics come in saying that only 29% of American women would describe themselves as feminist - and only 42% of British women - I used to think, What do you think feminism IS, ladies? What part of 'liberation for women' is not for you? Is it freedom to vote? The right not to be owned by the man you marry? The campaign for equal pay? 'Vogue' by Madonna? Jeans? Did all that good shit GET ON YOUR NERVES? Or were you just DRUNK AT THE TIME OF THE SURVEY?”
