Hriday Ram Shenoy, a 40-something recliner-stuck dreamer, has the potential to look younger if he dyes his hair...which he tried a few times and gave up since he doesn't believe in making L'Oreal richer when there are a lot of local start-ups that can be encouraged with all that hair-color money - like the neighborhood biryani joint for instance.

Faced with the Shakespearean dilemma of 'To B.E or not to B.E', right after class 12, he chose to B.E in Electronics and Communication and went on to do his MBA in Marketing and Systems. He currently works for an IT multinational and has had stints in marketing, innovation experience design and pre-sales.

Off work, he dabbles in cryptic crosswords, classical piano, chess, design, movies, fantasy an

“I has told you five or six times,’ he said, ‘and the third will be the last.”

More of Hriday's books…
Neil Gaiman
“I believe that mankind's destiny lies in the stars. I believe that candy really did taste better when I was a kid, that it's aerodynamically impossible for a bumble bee to fly, that light is a wave and a particle, that there's a cat in a box somewhere who's alive and dead at the same time (although if they don't ever open the box to feed it it'll eventually just be two different kinds of dead), and that there are stars in the universe billions of years older than the universe itself.”
Neil Gaiman

W. Somerset Maugham
“To acquire the habit of reading is to construct for yourself a refuge from almost all the miseries of life.”
W. Somerset Maugham, Books and You

W. Somerset Maugham
“Cronshaw stopped for a moment to drink. He had pondered for twenty years the problem whether he loved liquor because it made him talk or whether he loved conversation because it made him thirsty.”
W. Somerset Maugham

Agatha Christie
“If you are to be Hercule Poirot, you must think of everything.”
Agatha Christie

H. Jackson Brown Jr.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
H. Jackson Brown Jr., P.S. I Love You
