But really, that doesn't say it. I have been writing these three books for about ten years. And in that decade also began a blog on my website, now at www.soulsciences.net, became host of a community radio program called "Off the Top." (at www.whistleradio.com) and from there learned how to edit and produce my shows. That last skill is not as difficult as it might seem!
I am enjoying the challenges of technology, and am late in getting into the Goodreads community. Well, perhaps I ought to say I have been a member at a certain level and now am interested to up my game. Any takers?

Or just putting things on paper whether or not anyone might consider the items ideas. I enjoy revision, the challenge of finding the most excellent expression of what I mean to say. That always elicits an "awww" of relief somewhere near my heart centre. The process of stacking sentences into a proper order reminds me of shifting the buttons from my mother's large button collection, a job I was tasked as a two year old and one which brought out my mother's ability to be the best kind of mother: warm, interested, supportive, telling me "you can do it..." So putting order to chaos ranks as one of my intense interests in life.
I enjoy shifting the length of sentences from shorter to longer, and trying to hear the poetry of language sifting through the sounds gyrating on the page. This internal focusing makes me very happy, in the same way meditation makes me happy.
I enjoy seeing what my gifted friends Sue Reynolds and James Dewar come up with on cover design and layout and feel confident I am getting with them the best deal for the amount charged. My covers, both of The Stain and of Medicine Buddha/Medicine Mind attest to my words.
I am learning to enjoy the marketing side of things, albeit many days I feel my shoulder wedged snuggly against that rock known to Sisyphus. Other days I feel light as a cloud when someone anywhere notices, pays attention and/or buys one of my books. (less)
