Jeff was an officer in the Salvation Army (a pastor of the church and administrator of the social service programs) for eighteen years. Now he drives a forklift. Go figure.

He and his wife have two children (one of each) and a dog and a cat. Most of the time the four of them get along with each other.

It struck me then that the taboo nature of the limerick could be applied to some of the parts of the bible that tend to get neglected - those earthy, vulgar parts, the parts with rough edges. So I wrote one or two to amuse myself and my friends. And then another, and another and some time later I realized that I had over 800 biblical limericks - some from every book of the bible - old testament, new testament, and apocrypha... It was about that time that I decided that I needed to do something with them. (less)

“Annihilation itself is no death to evil. Only good where evil was, is evil dead. An evil thing must live with its evil until it chooses to be good. That alone is the slaying of evil.”
George MacDonald

“The longer and more carefully we look at a funny story, the sadder it becomes.”
Nikolai V. Gogol
