is on page 212 of 485 of Music & Silence: Very enjoyable read. There are multiple character threads (12) but it’s not confusing or disruptive to the flow of the story. Tremain doesn't try to impress you with overly arcane word choices, yet uses interesting pairings of adjectives to keep the writing fresh. The primary characters are Peter Claire and Emilia. Christian, King of Denmark and his consort Kirsten are the main secondary characters.
