Murray Siegel was born and raised in Baltimore and lives in the suburbs of Washington, DC. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Maryland, where he minored in Film. He has written a pilot for a TV series that was filmed in 1984 as well as several unproduced screenplays. He has also written thousands of memos and emails over the last few decades while working as a marketing manager in the promotional products industry. In 2017, he was inducted into the Chesapeake Promotional Products Association Hall of Fame. When Murray isn’t writing, he can be found eating, sleeping. or trying to open those plastic baggies in the produce section.

I curated them from over 7000 posts, dating back to the summer of 2008. The "Funny Tales of Terror" began as one short story about almost getting robbed. Then, I wrote another funny story about the time I actually got robbed. I realized that I had endured enough weird and dangerous events in my life that I could compile enough short stories to form a collection.(less)
