Christopher Scott Sevier received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California, Riverside. He is a Professor of Philosophy at the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas. His scholarly interests are the history of philosophy, particularly the history of ideas. He specializes in ancient and medieval philosophy and aesthetics.

He lives in Las Vegas with his wife, Jackie, and three lovely daughters.
