Ha, ha, Amy!! *passes her a Twizzler and a Red Vine*The gif posting isn't going so well. I have to do it on my laptop and I rarely use it anymore since I got my iPad. Thanks for trying to help me do it! I may sit down one day and give it a proper go!
*hands Amy a Frodka* (A drink I came up with a few years ago, consisting of Fresca and Vodka.) ;-)
*sits down at the cool kids' table and passes the red vines to Leslie*Hey, how's the gif posting coming along? ;)
Sarah, teaching me how to smoke provoked more iPad spittle swiping. Amy, yes, the cool kids' table is where it's at.
Tom, women will always blame you. #getusedtoit. ;)
Sarah wrote: "Thanks for letting me sit at the cool table. Maybe if you're lucky, I'll teach you how to smoke ;P"Hahah...now that's a coffee spitter. :D

Hey Tom...don't be telling me you have access to ebook librairies!! I have several myself...we should probably compare notes! Ha, ha! The Opportunist is only $3.99 on Amazon and I was at the point that if I didn't find out what the heck was going on with this obviously emotional book, I was going to die of curiosity!! Seriously, 3 of my GR friends couldn't even rate or review it!!! Huh??
Thanks for the acceptance!! I belong to two libraries that have an awesome selection of ebooks but I think I'm going to hit the cash register for "The Opportunist". Am looking forward to see what you think.
Hey girlie! I was wondering if you've read "The Bronze Horseman" by Paullina Simons? I dont see it on your lists. I have been reading reviews and it looks SO amazing. It's a love story that takes place in Russia during WWII...(which is why I think you will like it) romance+history=awesome!Anyway...check out some reviews. I think it sounds incredible and I def plan on reading. I just hope it's not too sad...I'm trying to find out a slight spoiler on this one which I usually don't do- but it may be necessary for this book :)
Okay, I'm going to rec a couple of "different books" (if you haven't read them), and I've posted reviews of them both. They. Were. Wonderful!!!
I am sure you have read things that I haven't so please share the love. :o) As you can see I am always looking for a good book. Thanks
Leslie wrote: "Hey Kelly! You know, I didn't prefer the layout of the app, so just went back to the original way. I can see so much more this way and feel more connected as well. Ha ha, Dee...yes, I understand reading reviews and getting confused on what you've read after a while, trust me! Thank you, though! I appreciate you checking mine out, anyway!
We are doing just fine! Finally taking our daughter to see Hunger Games this weekend. I insisted that she complete the book first before we take her to see the movie. And, tomorrow, I'm getting an iPad so I can have both the Kindle app and the Nook app. I'm tired of only having one! Happy (early) Mother's Day to MEEE!! ;)
Take care, sweet, Dee!! :)
Hi LeslieNo probs....I was just trying to catch up with what everyone had been up to as I hadn't been around much in the last week and was going through all my update emails and feed.
I will be honest and admit the I read so many reviews my head got into a total spin and if asked I wouldn't have a clue which review belonged to which book ha ha
Hope you and family and well and ok? xx
♥Alyssa♥ wrote: "I'll have to check that book out! Thanks for the recommendation Leslie! ...it got some awesome reviews on Amazon! :)"You're so welcome, sweet girl!!
Hi Leslie! Thanks for the friend invite! We DO seem to have a lot of books in common. I look forward to comparing notes.
Oh wow this is crazy town! I have commented on a lot of your reviews and thought we were already friends! LOL
Hi Leslie, I'm only about 50 pages into Fifty Shades but I totally get the comparision to Twilight. It's very obvious now after you kindly explained it to me. Hope you're enjoying your weekend:)
Hi Leslie, thanks for accepting my friend request. Glad to meet you! :) I see that we have a couple of books in common. Looking forward to chatting up books with you. :)
"Throw pillows..." You are quite right, but you are such a dude. ;)Hummm, what do I cook to impress people? You know, I don't have one particular dish because I like to cook a variety of things. I make a mean baked ziti, but of course, I can't leave any recipe alone and usually end up adding things. To that one, I prefer adding hamburger and spinach. I make fajitas a lot, simply because they're so easy. Probably my spaghetti and meatballs are my family's favorite, though.
Btw, thanks for the compliment on my reviews! I started writing them because I didn't want to forget the books and/or characters I'd read about! The fact that I was an English minor probably didn't hurt either! ;)
