Leslie began writing in college, creating short stories for friends, family or whoever wanted to read her paranormal romance stories. They’re her favorite genre, and you’ll never read anything without a supernatural spin.

Leslie is also the host of "Because I Wanna Know" podcast, where she chats with guests who have unique occupations or life experiences. Like a mortician, a near death experiencer, paranormal investigators, even a woman who escaped from a religious cult! You can find her on Apple, Spotify or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Leslie lives in Texas with her husband, son and daughter, and two very silly pugs.

Right back atcha!! And I was thinking of reading "Try" by Ella Frank. Thoughts?

Oh...something you might like is Butterfly Tattoo!! It's about a man who wasn't gay, then falls in love with a man, tragedy happens and he finds love again...with a woman.

Leslie Ha, ha, Amy!! *passes her a Twizzler and a Red Vine*

The gif posting isn't going so well. I have to do it on my laptop and I rarely use it anymore since I got my iPad. Thanks for trying to help me do it! I may sit down one day and give it a proper go!

*hands Amy a Frodka* (A drink I came up with a few years ago, consisting of Fresca and Vodka.) ;-)

Amy (caligurlreads) *sits down at the cool kids' table and passes the red vines to Leslie*

Hey, how's the gif posting coming along? ;)

Leslie Hey Tom...don't be telling me you have access to ebook librairies!! I have several myself...we should probably compare notes! Ha, ha!

The Opportunist is only $3.99 on Amazon and I was at the point that if I didn't find out what the heck was going on with this obviously emotional book, I was going to die of curiosity!! Seriously, 3 of my GR friends couldn't even rate or review it!!! Huh??

message 44: by Tom

Tom Thanks for the acceptance!! I belong to two libraries that have an awesome selection of ebooks but I think I'm going to hit the cash register for "The Opportunist". Am looking forward to see what you think.

message 43: by Kristin (KC) (last edited May 09, 2012 09:37AM)

Kristin (KC) Hey girlie! I was wondering if you've read "The Bronze Horseman" by Paullina Simons? I dont see it on your lists. I have been reading reviews and it looks SO amazing. It's a love story that takes place in Russia during WWII...(which is why I think you will like it) romance+history=awesome!

Anyway...check out some reviews. I think it sounds incredible and I def plan on reading. I just hope it's not too sad...I'm trying to find out a slight spoiler on this one which I usually don't do- but it may be necessary for this book :)

message 42: by Leslie (last edited May 07, 2012 03:32PM)

Leslie Okay, I'm going to rec a couple of "different books" (if you haven't read them), and I've posted reviews of them both. They. Were. Wonderful!!!

message 41: by Amanda

Amanda The Book Slayer I am sure you have read things that I haven't so please share the love. :o) As you can see I am always looking for a good book. Thanks

Ha ha, Dee...yes, I understand reading reviews and getting confused on what you've read after a while, trust me! Thank you, though! I appreciate you checking mine out, anyway!

We are doing just fine! Finally taking our daughter to see Hunger Games this weekend. I insisted that she complete the book first before we take her to see the movie. And, tomorrow, I'm getting an iPad so I can have both the Kindle app and the Nook app. I'm tired of only having one! Happy (early) Mother's Day to MEEE!! ;)

Take care, sweet, Dee!! :)

Dee Hi Leslie

No probs....I was just trying to catch up with what everyone had been up to as I hadn't been around much in the last week and was going through all my update emails and feed.

I will be honest and admit the I read so many reviews my head got into a total spin and if asked I wouldn't have a clue which review belonged to which book ha ha

Hope you and family and well and ok? xx

Kellie Maddox-Ward Oh wow this is crazy town! I have commented on a lot of your reviews and thought we were already friends! LOL

Kelly| Just Another Horror Reader Hi Leslie, I'm only about 50 pages into Fifty Shades but I totally get the comparision to Twilight. It's very obvious now after you kindly explained it to me. Hope you're enjoying your weekend:)

Lizzie Hi Leslie, thanks for accepting my friend request. Glad to meet you! :) I see that we have a couple of books in common. Looking forward to chatting up books with you. :)

message 27: by Leslie

Leslie "Throw pillows..." You are quite right, but you are such a dude. ;)

Hummm, what do I cook to impress people? You know, I don't have one particular dish because I like to cook a variety of things. I make a mean baked ziti, but of course, I can't leave any recipe alone and usually end up adding things. To that one, I prefer adding hamburger and spinach. I make fajitas a lot, simply because they're so easy. Probably my spaghetti and meatballs are my family's favorite, though.

Btw, thanks for the compliment on my reviews! I started writing them because I didn't want to forget the books and/or characters I'd read about! The fact that I was an English minor probably didn't hurt either! ;)
