Eerie and elliptical, a book that feels more about the journey than the destination. And quite a journey it is, filled with unease, a building sense of inchoate danger. I liked it, ***1/2.

Heartfelt, spooky, dog-centric, and very British novella from the man behind the wonderful Talking Scared podcast. Read the book and definitely tune in to Talking Scared if you like lively, smart conversations with and about horror writers.
