I confess, I'm a kidlit lover. I'm also the mother of two and grandmother of four. In addition to my day job, family, friends, book club, hiking, hobbies, and volunteer work, I love to read, and to write for children and teens. My short stories and articles have been published in a variety of magazines and anthologies, and my work has placed in a number of contests, but my greatest joy is writing picture books.

I'm thrilled to announce that my first picture book, The Alphabet Forest, is now available for purchase as both an ebook and a paperback. You can find it at http://www.guardianangelpublishing.com.

So for me, to let go of all the dotted i's and crossed t's feels like free-falling. I love it when I begin a story and see where my muse takes me!(less)

This “mystery within a mystery” intrigued me and lured me in, but I was disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery within and was close to the big reveal when FULL STOP. The story ends.

Slow and uninteresting. The most appropriate adjective I can think of is bland. The story never comes to life, because none of the characters are fully fleshed out and developed. It’s a bland story with a bland ending.
