As an only child of divorced parents, I had to navigate the legal, financial, and medical worlds to determine how to best take care of his needs. It was a daunting experience, with a task list that seemed never-ending in addition to dealing with the emotional toll of watching someone you love every day disappear. There was not one source of information I could go to in order to get the answers I need. I started writing these books to help others in my situation. It's taken more time than I imagined, but if I help one person through this difficult journey than it is more than worth it. My father always taught me to use my adversity to help others, so I am doing so in honor of him.(less)

Passionate in all areas of life, Victoria had deep loves and strong rivalries with the most influential characters of American Reconstruction including Susan B. Anthony, Benjamin Butler, Henry Ward Beecher, and Commodore Vanderbilt. I'm planning a giveaway of 25 ARCs beginning at the end of this week and I will announce it here. (less)
