1. I adore Star Wars of course.
2. You were hooked on Ender's Game as a little girl. Therein lies your answer. If I had read it when I was 10 I may have loved it!

I mean for Pete Mayhew's sake - you were born in 1977, weren't you?! ;)(I realize alot of people don't like Ender's Game or Star Wars but I got hooked as a little girl and 10-year old nerd affection is blind to all apparent flaws)
