I’m an Indian author of romance, psychospiritual thrillers, and contemporary fiction, with three novels—The French Encounter, Visa to Paradise, and Passport to Love—and over 20 short stories. I have studied French, Italian, and Spanish to an advanced level, and French remains my first love. I also write plays, radio plays, screenplays, and poetry.

Raised in a family of artists, creativity has always been at the heart of my life. Writing lets me celebrate love, life, and human connection in all its forms. My short story JILTED was featured in An Atlas of Love by Rupa Publications.

She came down the stairs, crossed over us, and entered my brother’s room. The next morning I hurried to my landlord’s place to ask him what was going on. I saw her photo on the wall. (less)

“Dream, but don’t forget to add a spark to that dream, it is the spark that gives wings to your dreams.”
Cécile Rischmann, Somewhere Over The Rainbow: A bittersweet memoir

“Life is all about choices. Make the right one and find your happiness. Don't waste a minute thinking of what others have, be contented with what you have. Ask God to help you achieve. He will, if you believe in Him, if you work hard, and if you do not give up on your dreams. After all, if you give up on your dreams how can you blame others who give up on you?”
Cécile Rischmann, The French Encounter

“If you wait until the wind and the weather are just right, you will never sow anything and never reap anything." (Ecclesiastes 11:4)”
Ecclesiastes 11:4

“Winners don't do different things . . . they do things differently”

“We may make our plans but God has the last word.”
Proverbs 16:1 The Bible

“There will be a few times in your life when all your instincts will tell you to do something, something that defies logic, upsets your plans, and may seem crazy to others. When that happens, you do it. Listen to your instincts and ignore everything else. Ignore logic, ignore the odds, ignore the complications, and just go for it.”
