She came down the stairs, crossed over us, and entered my brother’s room. The next morning I hurried to my landlord’s place to ask him what was going on. I saw her photo on the wall.

I write because I love to write with no deadlines. Hence I’m not under any external pressure and can lose myself in the world of my characters . . . Live with them. I believe it is very important to be at peace with oneself to create soul-stirring stories.

My personal experience of being wooed by a Frenchman (currently my husband). As an Indian girl, it is not an everyday occurrence falling in love with a Frenchman. I wanted to bring out the comedy and tragedy of both cultures, create a love story that goes beyond national boundaries.
