Always a fan of epic fantasy and historical fiction, Susi was born in the UK and grew up with the classics, The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. At twenty, she immigrated to Australia and worked as a free lance bird, animal and equine artist for many years, before taking up her passion for writing and illustrating her own fantasy worlds to share with others.
