Reading Is Essential
I'm finally finishing a full run through The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. I'm not sure of the reason, but I never got past the first chapter of Mockingjay when it came out back when, though I've seen the two-part adaptation with Jennifer Lawrence a few times.

is starting Darkly Dreaming Dexter: Michael C. Hall doesn't narrate the Dexter series. That privilege goes to the author. I'm hopeful he's a good narrator; who reads a book is crucial, and Hall did a laudable job with the two he reads in the King anthology. He gave a great performance with Pet Sematary. Strange to think I'd want to listen to a book soley because of the narrator.

is starting Darkly Dreaming Dexter: I'm going back to the Deter series, having just finished Stephen King's Skeleton Crew, because the audiobook version had several narrators. One being Michael C. Hall on two entries, notably "The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet," and since I planned to read through these again I'm come back to this particular book after 15 years, my first time being back in 2011.
