Born long ago, in a place, well, several miles from where I live now. For a living, I did carpenter, electrician, plumbing, concrete work, underwater demolition, operated heavy equipment, IT manager at a couple of very large corporations and one just massive one. Oh yeah, security guard, schoolbus driver, 18 wheeler driver. Programmer. Dad, foster father, honorable military service in the US Navy. Currently live at the edge of a swamp in Alabama, deer in the yard, frequent snakes. I am owned by my neighbors huge bull dog; he adopted me and watches out for me. I am dog phobic, he doesn't care. ...more

I get writer's empty, where the brain is not wanting to play; or writers pain, where my poor crippled right wrist is swollen and painful(worse when I've been using axe and shovel), but I got a wristpad. I just type and seems like there is something there that wants to get said. Eventually. You can always delete some or all of it later. Get 'er done.(less)

“People call them cobwebs. I’d never seen a cob. Those are fucking spiders that make the webs, when there is a spider web there is a spider made it. You find a cob, you check and see aint it got eight legs and eats bugs, which is mighty close to the definition of a spider in my book.”
