The ideas Asimov was working with were provocative, but I wanted to explore the world that he left us with, the conclusion that his ideas would inevitably follow through to. Or the presuppositions of what it means to value that kind of world. Rather vague, but I don't want to ruin the end of his book! It is amazing! Everyone should go read it! (less)
