🌟 Hopeful futures, imagined 🌟

I believe in humans: our capacity for love, connection, and re-invention. Our world is full of compassionate people striving for a just, better world—whether through small daily acts of care or bold, transformative efforts. 🧡💛💚💜

That’s why I write optimistic future fiction: stories that reflect the best of humanity, expand our possibility horizons, and inspire imaginative action. My books are for dreamers, doers, and anyone searching for stories of hope and possibility. 🌈🌈🌈

Through my fiction, I explore big ideas, push boundaries, and conduct through experiments. Most of all, I share my conviction that many fine futures are attainable, and invite you to work towards the one you most want. 💡💭💡💭

This one expands on the world that I introduced in Well Housed, this time tackling other aspects of how the city functions. This time I hope to expand on matters of governance and the economy, but it's a bit too soon to say what direction it will take.
I expect to finish a first draft by the end of 2026, but it will probably only be published in 2027.(less)

I loved this book. It’s more exciting than my usual fare (for me a bad thing), but it’s an intriguing story and you can always put the book down and take a break when it gets too exciting.

Not my cup of tea

I often criticise dystopian science fiction, so I like, occasionally, to read some of it, to check that my view is still valid and has not become mere dogma. I picked up Sleep State Interrupt as a likely example of the genre.
