Joe Haldeman
“Bad books on writing tell you to "WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW", a solemn and totally false adage that is the reason there exist so many mediocre novels about English professors contemplating adultery.”
Joe Haldeman

Hayao Miyazaki
“I’ve become skeptical of the unwritten rule that just because a boy and girl appear in the same feature, a romance must ensue. Hayao Miyazaki

David Foster Wallace
“The truth will set you free. But not until it is finished with you.”
David Foster Wallace, Infinite Jest

Joe Haldeman
“A good sign that an army has been around too long is that it starts getting top-heavy with officers.”
