Devora Goree is an indie author from Houston, Texas. Having found a love for writing at a very young age, she knew it was something that she wanted to pursue lifelong.

Having been a victim of molestation, and seeing the effects it had on her life, Devora became passionate about encouraging other individuals who've endured the same to speak out and begin the journey to healing. This led to the birth of the Black Dove Trilogy.

After living many years around the country, Devora, her husband, and their children have returned to the Houston area, where she's taken up teaching.
