Victoria L Trenton is an author, self-proclaimed dreamer, and has a big dash of "The Dark Side." She is highly interested in BDSM and the erotic arts, as well as the criminal mind. Her novels are all pulled from personal experience. She is a strong advocate for prison wives everywhere who endure the pain of waiting for their men to come home. She currently resides in Florida and is working on the third book in The Outmate trilogy, The Sea Wolf. See more at www.victorialtrenton.com ...more

Willow,

Nick, or M, in real life, has been my biggest influence. He was the trigger that brought me into my own as a writer. Sometimes, life experiences bring out that latent voice- I hesitate to say the talent. I don't truly know if I'm a good writer. What I do know is I write from my heart. M gave me that heart.

Before that, I was inspired by several writers that saw the same vision I did. Anne Rice. Philippa Gregory. Tolkein. Yann Martel. Hemingway. Virginia Woolf. Jane Austen. George Martin.

Perhaps I'm not there yet, where these remarkable writers are... but I'm getting there. I see with a writer's eye and a dream as a writer dreams.

The criminal mind? That is purely my M. Larger than life, bad a$$ to the extreme, tough as nails, and so incredibly pure of heart... Criminal does not mean black hearted. It means an ability to survive the harshest of conditions. Stick M back in gladiator times and he would be a hero of epic proportions. They would throw virgins at him.

That is all. Thank you Willow.

Diane Setterfield
