Thomas was born in Southwestern Ontario, Canada in the early 70s, where he learned to express his freedom by wandering and cycling through the farmlands north of Lake Erie. Throughout his life, he continued to enjoy these freedoms and now wanders with his friends through wild forests and decaying urban areas, where he gets inspiration for his stories.
His book are heavy on world-building, often exploring themes such as isolation, epic fantasy heroes vs monsters, magic, the occult, the paranormal, and urban decay. Often the main character moves from life-long isolation to inclusion in a group, where he faces his demons and comes out the other side a much improved and more powerful person.

Do you find it a challenge to maintain creativity and to keep up the quality of the work at the same time? You know how you never get tired of finding a good book to read?
