I’ve been a Registered Nurse since the 80s, with a career spanning medical-surgical care, operating room nursing, Infection Prevention and Control, and home health and hospice. I’ve witnessed both the beauty and the heartbreak of life—and those experiences sometimes find their way into my stories.

My love for Jane Austen began when I was twelve years old, and Pride and Prejudice has always held a special place in my heart. I’ve read Austen’s novels more times than I can count, always wishing she had written a longer epilogue. I longed to know what became of Darcy and Elizabeth after their wedding—what their life together might have looked like.

I’ve read Austen’s novels more times than I can count, always wishing she had written a longer epilogue. I longed to know what became of Darcy and Elizabeth after their wedding—what their life together might have looked like.

Imagine my delight when I discovered the world of Pride and Prejudice retellings. I had no idea such variations existed! After years of enjoying the work of other authors, I finally sat down to write the story that had taken shape in my own mind years ago as a twelve-year-old child, the one where Mr. Bennet takes decisive action to protect his daughters. My second book followed, exploring Elizabeth’s inner strength as she faced Darcy’s relentless resistance to his destiny.

Now, more stories are clamoring for attention, waiting to be written.

My special interest is writing Jane Austen Fan Fiction (JAFF) and Pride and Prejudice variations. My stories feature beloved characters Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet in sweet romance narratives that explore alternative storylines, second chances, and deeper character development. My stories appeal to readers who love slow-burn romance, enemies-to-lovers tropes, and happily ever afters set in the Regency era. My stories also include Elizabeth Bennet's four sisters, Fitzwilliam Darcy's sister Georgiana, and, of course, his favorite cousin Richard Fitzwilliam.

When not writing slow-burning romance, I am working as a nurse and babysitting my grandchildren. Being an empty nester has offered plenty of time to spin sweet and clean Regency romance tales.
