In multiple, countless worlds with endless possibilities, there is no such thing as too much or too little. Whether you knew about the AUs or not, many people are somehow prodded into this place through the portal station and sealed in. A vast town with androids working in shops instead of people, the ground and sky a pitch black void. As you near the outskirts of the town, you feel a tug at your gut telling you to turn back around, and you decide to edge closer, bit by bit. Sure enough, you feel an edge with your feet, and you peer down. More black. It blends in. As you learn more about the town, other people who know where they are begin explaining it to you and many others. The Multiverse. You come from a universe among billions. But the problem is, the people who were aware of this have no idea why all these people were thrown in randomly, and the portals won't reopen. They're trapped, and they suspect some god or goddess or creator is keeping them there, possibly for entertainment. You're directed to the ID center, where you get an ID card, and an Asuri card. Droids will scan you and find who you are and what world you come from, and then print out an ID card. This just puts you into their system as a world hopper. With an ID card, you can then get an Asuri card; droids will take your money in exchange for a card with points, and with it you can buy what you'd like — a hotel room, food and drink, clothes... And, you can't die here. Through any means. World-hoppers explain that you could possibly fall past that edge and fall into the void, where you're trapped as a single existing soul forever. If you fall in, everyone who knew you forgets you existed. But some people here have varying morals, and so, murderous intent is possible. You're warned to be careful... ...more
