Peter Pi is the pseudonym of Peter Petrov, born in 1955 in Bulgaria. He has focused on developing a distinct literary voice rooted in absurdist and speculative fiction. His work often blends surreal humor with philosophical reflection, drawing readers into imaginative worlds with unexpected depth. He writes in both Bulgarian and English.
He has authored four books of fiction so far. Letters from the 4th km and its sequel Hotel 4th km form a loosely connected diptych of absurdist tales set in a mysterious, shifting reality. Above the Law is a satirical, speculative novel exploring themes of power and control, while Stories from I to U is a collection of whimsical yet thought-provoking short fairy tales for adults.
