Bewhiskered buffoon, Kyt Wright; born in Grimsby in 1957, thought of an idea for a novel in 1974 but life sort of got in the way...

Following an epiphany, he finally got around to writing the novel in 2016 and Sirkkusaga was published in 2019
(talk about a long game!).

Style; fast-paced, quirky, funny, thrilling and saucy stories spread across three different genres - Science Fiction, vampire adventure and a ripping Edwardian horror yarn.
Now with added mermaids.

Kyt Wright The Discworld; I would take a weekend break to Ankh-Morpork to take in the sights, and hopefully live to tell the tale!

An entertaining read with lots of affectionate digs at science fiction tropes and series (especially one with red shirted cannon fodder).

My favorite Stephen King book (even better than, "The Shining"), once again set in Castle Rock with Sheriff Alan Pangborn as the protagonist set against the deliciously evil Leland Gaunt who is assisted by the town's bad boy "Ace" Merrill.
