Matty Bennett is the author of What Are the Men Writing in the Sugar? (2021), his debut poetry collection, and We Give Support, Not Advice (2022), a YA novel-in-verse, both from Rebel Satori's Queer Mojo imprint.

He received his MFA in poetry from Virginia Tech, and his work has appeared or been reviewed in The Gay & Lesbian Review Worldwide, Juked, Homology Lit, Cardiff Review, Philadelphia Gay News, and others. This is the first in the series that made me cry! 🥲 This was actually my favorite so far. Troy is pretty awful in the beginning, but the character growth and payoff is worth it.
