Eli Ring (b. 1956) is a novelist and short-story writer who lives in Oregon. Eli is an Illinois native who moved to Oregon 40+ years ago after a hitch in the Army. He spent thirty-five years working in public accounting as a tax accountant and auditor. He began writing fiction when his daughter introduced him to NaNoWriMo in 2013. He is the author of the crime thriller, "Trail to Peril" which is available on Amazon. He spends his time writing, reading, orienteering, and backpacking in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Anna.
