Sheila's retired! If I ever do that, I'll try to give her a run for her money ... or should I say letters?! LOL
I hear ya, Sheila! I'm jealous ... especially on days when I'm pretty achey. But I do enjoy my job so it's not all bad. I keep saying maybe next year, then I just keep working. :-)
37 years? Whew it is definitely time for you to have some play time Sheila! :)Buying a "B"
Blood Work: An Original Hollows Graphic Novel by Kim Harrison (9/4/12)***
Buying a "R"
Rumor Has It by Jane B. Mason (9/4/12) ***
I don't work but I am disabled and a single mum to 3 boys, one of whom is also disabled so it doesn't leave a lot of reading time.
It was funny about my career. It started out as part time temp job until I secured a teaching position and I liked the job so much that I took a right turn into a new career. I never did teach.

Jennifer, Your post has been updated.
I've just been working at this job for 17 years (next month), but was self-employed the previous 10 years and a stay-at-home mom before that. Our oldest son who is 37 is developmentally disabled so I'm still very much a busy mom and a grandma. Trying to get some services lined up for Jason as Jerry & I get older, but just learned that he doesn't qualify for in-home help as he's not considered an emergency. Pretty aggravating as I know others like him have received help. Funds are probably low. Our state is in a mess.
I feel for you martha as My eldest son is also developmentally disabled and will probably never be able to live on his own without a lot of help. He is only 10 at the moment though.

To claim a letter please include the letter you are claiming, a link to the book and author you read and the date you finished it. It should look something like this:
Buying "B"
Black Out by Lisa Unger = 8/15/12
You may buy more than one letter in a post as long as you've read the appropriate books. Just put a couple of lines between letters so it's easy for me to figure out which books are for which letters.
