Cherie (cheriereads) This is the thread where you will "buy" your letters. As stated in the rules, your letters to choose from will be posted in your post in the Readerboard thread. They will be available for 1 week.
______________________________________________________

To claim a letter please include the letter you are claiming, a link to the book and author you read and the date you finished it. It should look something like this:

Buying "B"
Black Out by Lisa Unger = 8/15/12

You may buy more than one letter in a post as long as you've read the appropriate books. Just put a couple of lines between letters so it's easy for me to figure out which books are for which letters.

Sheila (sheilaj) It was funny about my career. It started out as part time temp job until I secured a teaching position and I liked the job so much that I took a right turn into a new career. I never did teach.

It's funny how life works out sometimes. :)

message 44: by Martha (new)

Martha (marthas48) I've just been working at this job for 17 years (next month), but was self-employed the previous 10 years and a stay-at-home mom before that. Our oldest son who is 37 is developmentally disabled so I'm still very much a busy mom and a grandma. Trying to get some services lined up for Jason as Jerry & I get older, but just learned that he doesn't qualify for in-home help as he's not considered an emergency. Pretty aggravating as I know others like him have received help. Funds are probably low. Our state is in a mess.

message 45: by Adele (new)

Adele Symonds (adelesymonds) | 123 comments I feel for you martha as My eldest son is also developmentally disabled and will probably never be able to live on his own without a lot of help. He is only 10 at the moment though.
