Help! I feel like ive read EVERTHING!!

So I'm officially in a reading slump. Ive read all the good ones, Cat and Bones, Kate Daniels, Fever Series, Vampire Academy, Immortals after Dark, Chicagoland Vampire, Black Dagger Brotherhood, etc etc etc.

I started venturing out into other genres, but to be honest, if it doesn't have the underlining feeling of romance then I'm just not into it. Now saying that alone is a huge feat for me because, for YEARS I have been in denial that I only read sex infused books. I can say that ive come to terms!

So I need help! Any recommendation?

Have you read the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones?
This is the first book, . It's really funny, an incredible storyline and a fantastic romance.
It's the same couple throughout the series.

If you're in the mood for a funny, OTT series, you might like Shelly Laurenston's Pack and Pride books. There are seriously alpha females along with the usual alpha males. Lots of fun.

Steph - I downloaded the first Charlie Davidson novel, and I'm having a really hard time getting into it - I'm about 30% into the book. I'm assuming I need to stick with it? *fingers crossed that it gets better soon*

Mary, if it doesn't have to be PNR I highly suggest reading ANYTHING and EVERYTHING by Kristen Ashley. I have read over 23 books in a row and can't get enough. You should start with , be prepared to be addicted!

Absolutely!! And the best part of doing that is getting the story you want - LOL. Of course, some times the characters have other ideas but that is part of the fun of writing your own book. But I do have to warn you - once you start down the path of writing you're going to want to share your stories with others. :) Luckily, with all of the resources available it's very easy to do so. And you will probably find readers who enjoy what you wrote so win-win! And that is a wonderful thing.

For adult PNR, I would recommend the Midnight Breed series. I think the first book is .

If you love YA, I would suggest . These aren't all PNR but have some supernatural/UF aspect to them (angels, witches, zombies).

I need romance in my books too.

The Midnight Breed series has lots of romance and sex.

Obviously, the YA books don't have sex but most have lots of teen angst romance.

have the least amount of romance but they are SUCH good books.

Yes-lol. Unfortuantely, when I'm writing, I have a hard time actually reading anything because I can't get out of my own head. I'm still reading the last BDB book, and I haven't looked at it in at least a month! Which means I don't have a lot to add to the main topic of this thread.

That being said, the writing process is much more rewarding for me, but definitely more work. You should give it a go!

One of my favorites is the Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane. They somehow keep getting better as the series goes along, and it starts with

I loved the Rock Chick Series and the Dream Man Series.
I think I have every other one she has written sitting in my ereader.
She sucks you in before you know it you want to be a Rock Chick and with one of your own hot guy.

Also Lauren Dane`s Brown Siblings I really enjoyed them.
