Our first three books will be:

January Book: Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut

February Book: A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. LeGuin

March Book: Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson

After this we will select a fantasy book for April in February and a science fiction one for May in March and so forth.

I think the best way to handle a book each month is to seek volunteers to lead our discussions each month. This person will keep the discussion going, add supplemental material as needed (author bio and whatever else you wish to share), and ask intriguing questions to spark deeper discussions. Each month a new book and discussion leader will come on stage! So, anyone interested in leading Slaughterhouse-Five, A Wizard of Earthsea or Snow Crash?

J-Lynn Van Pelt | 118 comments I'll take Slaughterhouse 5 if no one else has stepped up.

Reads with Scotch | 10 comments What are the next 3 books after Snow Crash? I work at a remote location so I have to order all my reading material in advance.

I always will have these posted in the group description and under events. The next three are Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card and A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin.
