This moved a bit too slowly for me and was too sterile, it didn't show me enough of why I should dislike the society. But, it had all the elements of a dystopian novel and I am sure teen readers would like it.

Way better than the first book! More quickly paced and I cared about the characters. Loved having the chapters from different characters' points of view.
