Don't thank me Vicki I am the one who should be thanking you. It was a really good read, so thank you:D
My review for the historical mystery A Chorus of Innocents by P.F. Chisholm 4★, such an enjoyable series set on the English/Scottish border in the late 16th century.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Popular Aussie news journalist (among other things) Tony Jones has successfully added thriller writer to his "among other things" with a great read, The Twentieth Man. It's based on true Aussie events, but there's plenty of artistic licence making for an exciting novel. Loved it!

Scales of Justice by Ngaio Marsh 3.5★https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Just finished Mick Herron”s London Rules, his latest visit to the Slow Horses of Slough House. Still an entertaining bunch of demoted (“demented”?) spooks.

I've only read a couple in this series by Carol Wyer, but have enjoyed them including her latest, The Chosen Ones 4★, where DI Robyn Carter is presented with three very different murders with a common link.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Culprits: The Stories of a Crime Gone Wrong by Richard Brewer
My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
A pretty good thematic crime fiction anthology
Just finished Fatal Mistake by Karen M. Davis. No #3 in a series.I didn't enjoy this book, mainly because I found most of the characters unbelievable.
★★
Just finished Comeback by A.A Peter Corris#37 in his long running Cliff Hardy series, it has been a few years since I have caught up with Cliff. I audiobooked this one, and it was one of the rare instances where the narrator detracted from the book for me. Maybe because I have read so many of this series over the years, and the narrator just didn't sound like the Cliff Hardy in my head.
So I didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped, but suspect I would have enjoyed it more if I had read rather than listened.
