Into the River (or Wimmera) shows the dark side of the 1980s for two Aussie schoolboys. Good mystery, but not a comfy cosy one!

Just finished The Lost Man by Jane Harper.In spite of the great reviews this book has been getting, I realised when I was 3 or 4 chapters in that I had somehow reduced my expectations of it. I mean, new author, can't expect the standard of the first two to be maintained in every book, can wee? Yes we can.
★★★★★PS - listened to this one on Audio - and interview with the writer and the narrator at the end was really interesting.
