For those like me, who depend on the library for the newer, pricier books, let's see what treasures you're enjoying. :)

Nice finds! Particularly Divergent :) since I'm travelling, libraries are less of an option so I've been treating the used bookstore like a library. I recently got
and
David,
is an awesome book. I've read it already. Still haven't read Cinder yet. Recently got
,
, and
.The first two are in trade copy paperbacks from the authors, and the last is an ebook copy that I need to read for review :)
Cinder was good, can't wait for Scarlet. Rereading Divergent because I got Insurgent from the library but it had been too long since I read the first and was confused.
I go to the library three or four times a week. I love the library but they don't have what I want 45% of the time. I have to be on a waiting list it I have to have the book ordered. Its very frustrating.
In my library you can't put books that haven't come out yet on hold. My library always has every book I want (especially the newer ones) and in the rare case that they don't have it they will buy a copy if you request. Right now I have City of Lost Souls and the Golden Lily on hold. I'm number 33 on the wait list for CoLS and number 5 on the wait list for the Golden Lily. The reason I'm number 33 is that I forgot to check the library's website everyday for the holding process to start for CoLS and by the time I knew it there were 32 people on the waiting list. I recently checked out a book called Tears of a Tiger. It's pretty good! It's about a boy who accidently kills his best friend during a car crash while drinking and driving. He has to deal with the guilt and depression. The book is told in notes, poems, school assignments, etc. and it includes the point of view of other students who know the main character and the best friend that died. On another note, I LOVED Cinder (borrowed it from my library a month after it came out) and I can't wait for Scarlet to come out. I do rely on my library a lot since I don't really have a lot of money to spend on books.
I've always got books on hold. Unfortunately, the only ones I can tell where I am on the wait list is with the ebooks. It seems that my holds like to all come in at the same time. :)

It's great they keep up with techonology :)
I love the library. I read books I buy physically and ebooks, but the majority couldn't be done without that wonderful service. Today, I got:
,
,
,
and
.

That happens to me as well Marni. I won't have anything come in for weeks then they all come in.

The same thing happens to me! And then I get weird looks in the library for trying to balance so many. O_o
I found this book at the library, enjoyed it
so I ordered the second book, which I have just finished.
I will be waiting for them to get the next book in, but its not published yet!

@Rebecca, there were questions left and from the reviews i read, i dont think they get cleared up much at all. The Kill Order happens 13 years before the maze.

I used to love the library when my daughter was young. These days I don't have anywhere near as much time as I'd like to have to read, so I don't usually do library books in case I can't get through them in a reasonable time. I always felt guilty when I had to extend/renew. Plus sometimes you weren't able to if someone else waiting for the book.
Marylene...The Book Thief is one of the best books I have ever read! I couldn't put it down. The story is narrated by Death...it's an amazing story. I was almost in tears reading some parts of this book. This book is worth any price.
I got these! I forgot to grab a basket when I walked in, so I was walking all over the place until a lady offered me one lol
Volumes 1-5. Lady said I could check out as many books as I wanted and I couldn't stop myself.

Mockingjay The Iron KnightThe Iron Legends CinderThe Immortal RulesWent on a Julie Kagawa love fest at the library the last time I was there. XD
Currently I have Cinder, The Lost Prince and ShadowFever out from the library. Returning The Iron Legends and The Immortal Rules today.
Okay,I have no idea how you all post pictures but that is totally cool!I love the library and always have a hold list so they see me weekly. :p I picked up Iced by Karen Marie Moning and The Giver by Lois Lowry and dropped off Divergent,Bitterblue and the Fever series. I don't know what I would do without the library!
You just need to click on the "add book/author" right above the comment box to add a picture or link. It is cool. I haven't been in the library in forever, but I might get there more often now that the used book store down the street from my house is closing down on Christmas Eve.

I love libraries, but I'm afraid to check out any books! Sometimes I just leave a book somewhere, turn my back to get a drink or whatnot, and all of a sudden, my one cat will be on it like she's trying to dig to China! I'm more careful now, but sometimes she still mangles a cover or an index page here and there lol.
I have discovered how many e-books my library has so I prefer to get those now. Right now, I have all of these checked out
,
and
. All except Days of Blood & Starlight are e-books.
I also have
waiting for me to pick up.
Just got some of the House of Night books, waiting to get the rest so I can re-read them. Some odd reason I just got the urge to re-read this series lol.

I have heard that from pretty much everyone now and I have since bought it, but I'm not sure when I will get around to reading it. It's not on my challenge list as of now, and i don't know that i can do any more than my list. I will definitely end up reading it though.
