Nicole (sharearead) | 107 comments The thing about Arementrout is her characters, you have to love em or hate them. But she really knows how to make them leap off the page.

After Deity though I have to say the Covenant series is slightly better. We shall see if the darn mailman ever delivers my Opal ARC

So true. I wasn't sure for the first bits of Obsidian. Too much he's hot but such a douchebag. I think Katy said it about six times in like eight chapters. But now that we're past all that, and in the thick of the story, I'm really enjoying it and Daemon and Katy's banter is quite hilarious. 60% now, hoping for a strong finish!

If you are going to stick with the series be prepared for it to get better and worse. I have a love/hate relationship with this series. I like some of the things about it and some of the characters and want to know what is going to happen next but others drive me crazy and kind of spoil it. I did really like Hidden (House of Night, #10) by P.C. Cast because Zoey has finally grown up a little and its not all from her point of view.

Yeah, I like the series but there are so many things that bug the heck out of me (like made up words and the constant ho, slut language - which wouldn't bother me if it wasn't contradictory and proper use). I'm hoping that the series gets better but it's definitely not a series I'd typically continue to read.

Michael Tyrer (holden) | 55 comments hi,
i'm currently 60 percent through The Moon Dwellers (The Dwellers, #1) by David Estes and i'm loving it. I've just read Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee which is excellent. I think its gonna be Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie next is that a good choice ?? for a dystopian/adventure read

message 231: by Allie (new)

Allie | 224 comments ^^Matched was pretty good. Not one of my favorite books but it was okay.

message 232: by Michael (new)

Michael Tyrer (holden) | 55 comments Ok then I have a copy of Delirium (Delirium, #1) by Lauren Oliver I've heard so many great reviews about this book, I'll change to this or The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner flip a coin I think .

This author is amazing. I just started reading her books this year and loved ones i read so far.

message 234: by Amy (new)

Amy (aimzees02) @Michael - both are pretty good but very different. If you're looking for more puzzle-adventure do Maze Runner. If you're looking for a dystopian love story, grab Delirium :)

Thank Michael!! I've got Angelfall ready to read on my Kindle, so it's good to know you thought it was a good one :) Matched is pretty good although it's a bit slow for a dystopian, more about the romance than the adventure. Delirium's better in my opinion and sort of similar, but I do like them both. I LOVED The Maze Runner, the whole series!

I wasn't so sure about it at first but it's getting better. I'm only 30% in but atleast I'm starting to get into it now. Seems to be popular with series books though... to be slow in the beginning and pick up. I didn't like the first part of Delirium either and now that series is one of my favs.
