I finally finished Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia

Now need to finish Sunset Rising by S.M. McEachern so I can start Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky, #2) by Veronica Rossi for Friday's buddy read.

I'm actually having a hard time getting into other books after reading Ice Country (The Country Saga, #2) by David Estes this past weekend. I think I'm still in withdrawals. ;-P

Rustin Petrae (rustinpetrae) | 106 comments Sadly, however, the ending was pretty predictable. I saw that coming a mile away but despite that I still thought it was awesome. The writing style was similar to my own. Very descriptive with great characters and dialogue. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

it's the last book in a trilogy

A World Without Heroes (Beyonders, #1) by Brandon Mull Seeds of Rebellion (Beyonders, #2) by Brandon Mull

and it's really good, i highly recommend it to anyone who loves high adventure, action. there may be hints of romance. but it is not the focus of the trilogy.

Eve is a pretty good story, and I liked the sequel, Once even better. I just didn't really like the beginning of Eve for personal reasons...it made me feel ill. Those poor girls!

Reading so many books right now...I was exhausted and wanted an easy read for my bubble bath in my HUGE new tub! So I grabbed Academy 7 by Anne Osterlund and finished half of it while soaking! It's not too bad, its a really quick read!

Me too, (reading in the tub) but I have to be careful cuz I'm such a klutz...I once had to buy a library book because it fell in the tub and was too damaged afterwards to be returned! So no more library books in the tub!

Thanks so much for the invite - but I think I have to pass on that one. I read it about a week ago and was in tears - now I'm in tears amid Forbidden (The Books of Mortals, #1) by Ted Dekker (view spoiler) I don't think I can take much more of this in such a short time. Enjoy - I'll be really interested to hear what you think of Requiem (Delirium, #3) by Lauren Oliver

And I know certain people(cough*Heidi*cough) will be very pleased to know that I just got A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness from the library :) So I will be starting that VERY soon!

Forbidden is amazing. Wow. I had a bit of trouble getting into it at first, but I think that had more to do with the fact that I was trying to fit laminate flooring around doorways while listening to it (lol!). I put it aside, read a couple of other things, and then picked it back up and couldn't put it down. I was a mess near the end!
