I hope you like it! I read it the first time in 8th grade, took me 2 weeks :) Loved it ever since, I've reread oodles of times! Usually I don't read it cover to cover, I just open the book and start reading.

I have stacks and stacks of books all are. It's one of my big ones as you know. Not sure when I will get to it. There are so many older books and newer books I'm finding on good reads and the groups! This is a blessing and a curse :-)

Haha something tells me so ;)

is one of my all time favorites. I enjoyed
too but you really can't compare it to The Book Thief, they're both so different from each other. It's a good book though, the writing is very unique and it will draw you in.

I have to say this series has a very interesting take on hindu mythology. I'm not really sure how I feel about it but I've heard this one was better than the first so I'm willing to give it a shot.
okay so I read
in maybe three and a half hours today. it wasn't even on my tbr list, and I regret that it never was.

Same. I'm interested and definitely gonna check it out, but it seems like most are split pretty evenly in the love hate camps for it.
Yea same here with Dorothy must die.. Glad I'm not the only one I really didn't like it that much. I want to try to reread it so I can read the second one but I don't have a desire too lol.
I am still reading the girl of fire and thorns, although it was a slow start I am really liking it. I have been reading and listening to it and that has been fun

I struggled getting through the first half. The second half really picked up, and you got to truly see how twisted Oz really was, and Dorothy and The Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Lion.

Can't read anymore manga this week possibly. Can't read much else. Waiting for The Heir. Brain will tap out when it comes out.
Just finishing The 25th Hour and starting That Summer. I'm reading my short books before I go to my library tomorrow. For those who liked The Book Thief you might want to try The Lock Artist. They are very different books but for some reason when I hear of one I think of the other.
Finished
and I LOVED it, it was so good!!
I have other books I'm in the middle of, but I'm putting them aside today at least...they are all kind of depressing reads for my bday! Think I'm going to read
today :)

Oh gosh, lots of us loved Ashfall in here. And Mike Mullin is soooo awesome. He was amongst our first author Q&A's in this group and he's so incredible. I still keep in touch with him!

Ooh yes, I agree with Karen, Ashfall is an INCREDIBLE series. So realistic that it's a little scary, but also heart-warming in other ways. Enjoy!
