I haven't watched it yet, Heidi. Not sure if I want to. Do you recommend?

The Jackaby novel looks really interesting - I'll definitely read it when it comes out. I look forward to your review!

Daniel (pickyreader1) | 1925 comments I read the Sea of Monsters (PJ number 2) in about 2 hours today. Lol. 2 days gone, two books read.

message 7518: by kynndra-jo (new)

kynndra-jo (charlietanghoe) They must be awfully good then, Daniel!

message 7519: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (pickyreader1) | 1925 comments They're short and fun, Kynndra. Still a bit juvenile, but I hope the writing and maturity grows as the characters get older.

message 7520: by kynndra-jo (new)

kynndra-jo (charlietanghoe) Yeah, I've been told their quite good; however, I've never really been pulled to reading them. I'll try them sometime in my life but it's not a series I'm greatly anticipating. I'll certainly look forward to reading your reviews on them though (if you happen to write some!).

Paranormal Keepers by Jen Naumann and Dream On by M. Kircher both as R2R's and both so far good.

I'm almost done with Reboot (Reboot, #1) by Amy Tintera and I love it!

I'm also reading on and off Never Fade (The Darkest Minds, #2) by Alexandra Bracken

message 7538: by Kaylani (new)

Kaylani (cityeclectics) | 297 comments I am doing a staycation this weekend. Got my assisted living to go along with it. So no books are getting picked up until Tuesday, unless I really really want to pick something up.

Then tuesday I begin to kick ass on my reading pile.

I've been so sick and stressed I just needed to have a weekend where I do nothing but chill... and while I love reading bookhangovers can take valuable energy.

I needed to spend the weekend alone to recharge my introverted self to be able to not scream at all the stupid people who live in my assisted living.

So I need to stay away from book hangovers and emotional storylines on netflix.

But on tuesday I will probably spend all my time away from people in a (dozen) books :)

kynndra-jo (charlietanghoe) Aw, wow thank you so much David. It really means a lot to hear that. I'm glad that you liked the reviews, you made my day! Oh yes, I enjoyed the Country Saga very much! I'm almost through with The Earth Dwellers (taking my time because I don't want to say goodbye to my favorite characters :c) and I'm absolutely loving it so far. Thank you, once again! c:

kynndra-jo (charlietanghoe) UPDATE: Just finished The Earth Dwellers. W. O. W. Just a spectacular ending to a magnificent series. It broke my heart and made me smile the whole way through. It's such a bittersweet ending. I will miss these characters terribly so. Review to come on the weekend (possibly sooner).

And Brew! That sneak peek holy searin' hell. I haven't had this excitement of reading a new book for quite some time. I was instantly drawn into the first three chapters. And a dog sidekick? A magical sidekick dog? I've had my fair share of heartbreak from a dog character - (view spoiler) I cannot wait for this book to be picked up by a publisher (which I'm sure it will!).

Thank you so much, David for these wonderful tales. I also anticipate Slip!
