I've not seen the movie Old Yeller yet. I like the old movie Spencer's Mountain starring Henry Fonda. The Waltons tv series was based on this movie/book. I'm going to read the books and then watch the movies. I have Sadie Shapiro's Knitting Book and it was good. I'll reread it since it was so long ago, then read this follow-story Sadie Shapiro Matchmaker.

Yes, Cole's Immortals After Dark, to get the full impact of the stories, needs to be read in order, in my opinion.

I agree with Yz, they should be read in order. A couple of the books pick up where the last left off.

Start at the beginning and read them! They're awesome! I'm pretty sure you'll feel lost if you start with Kiss of A Demon King.

Good Morning America's (ABC) Happiest Place in America. My State (Nebraska) is #1 and my cities downtown (Hastings) is featured as well as our mayor interviewed. See it here: http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerInd... (30 sec ad first)

What do you know about this author? I saw alot of my friend' Rapture: The Shadowdwellers to their to-read list. But there is no blurb on GR. What's the buzz?

They're pretty cool, but the prose tends to get extremely sugary, and I personally got irritated with the way she dealt with the soul mate angle.
But a lot of people really like these books. I read the first four and enjoyed them but got sick of them by book five.
Her new Shadowdwellers series is sort of a spin-off. The Shadowdwellers are another race, like the demons and shapeshifters, etc. She introduces them in book 4 of the Nightwalkers series.
The first book of the Shadowdwellers series is Ecstasy. I have not read it since I didn't love her other series, and I haven't really heard much about what people think of it. I assume Rapture is book 2 and has not been released yet.

I would get the first book from the library and see if you can enjoy her style.

I just heard on the news that sells of romance up 25% since the down turn of the economy. That's cool!
