message 2710: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (bestashleyever) Currently reading and advance copy of Leading Lines by Chantel Guertin.

It's kinda getting on my nerves.
By my count, there have been 17 misues of the word "Okay" in 72 pages in dialogue or monologues.
The part that I hate about it is that she's used the word "'Kay" correctly about five times.

Rebecca M. | 27 comments Mrs. Poe by Lynn Cullen, a historical fiction centered on the relationship between Edgar Allan Poe -- which may or may not have been more than platonic -- and Mrs. Frances Osgood. It's interesting. It feels very authentic. I imagine Cullen did extensive research before writing.

Definitely check it out! It's very fast-paced and fun, especially if you like sci-fi, fantasy, and futuristic dystopian stories. I'd suggest reading it when you have downtime though because once you start, you won't want to stop! ;)

Yeah, I heard they're making a movie. Should be interesting. :)
