What are you currently reading? :)
Just recently finished
which unbeknownst to me was a very VERY short read. Not really my cuppa tea.Have just started reading
So I finished
and I loved it. I even cried and I almost never cry reading a book.I also finished
and I loved it too. The first 100 pages were a little boring but it was worth it in the end.I also read
and I liked it but It wasn't what expected. I expected a collection of short stories about hot some people met and I guess it was that kind of book but at some points it almost felt like I was reading a book about a day in the life of different homosexual teenagers instead of how people met. I wouldn't have minded a book about homosexuality at all, only if just wasn't what I expected and what I was in the mood for so I was a little disappointed.I don't know yet what I'll read next but it could be
I was hoping that I was just in a bad mood yesterday, but I'm swaying towards thinking that maybe this book is just poo.
I know what you mean.
was the same yesterday. Will probably take a break from it and finish it later, it's not really bad, it's just not gripping me.
The pacing is weird though, one minute it's really slow, then it goes fast for 3 pages, then slow again.
I'm reading
but don't think I can finish it tomorrow. Got distracted by Elysium and The Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King extended edition buddy watch with my bestfriends :D
Forced myself to finish. Utter drivel. If there's a sequel it's going on the 'no way' shelf. In fact I might change the shelf name to 'no way in hell' - so annoyed by this book!
I finished
too and Abbie is right - it was very boring for quite a good chunk of the book, probably from the 25% mark to the 80% mark really. I might read the sequel, but I wouldn't rush to get hold of a copy or anything. I can also see a big old love triangle coming!

It had an interesting and original idea. There's loads of books like that with zombies, and there's a decent amount with aliens, but not human/animal hybrids like that.
Just about to start
which i'm hoping is better than the first one. Clockwork angel bored me quite often.
Clockwork prince was slightly better than clockwork angel. I still need to get through clockwork princess but I've been trying to read some review books first.

We've just been talking about that one on the random share thread! We were looking at the cover of the sequel
and comparing it to the first book's cover.

They look very alike. I like the first book cover best though!
Good - lots of funny embarrassing moments.
Very good so far. Jessamyn can't help but get herself in trouble it seems.

kinda slow at the moment, but i'm only 4% in."
Don't recognise that one. According to amazon I purchased it last september though so I obviously have a copy!

It's been free quite a few times, so you probably got it then. :)
Yeah, I have an addiction to free kindle books. My kindle library is currently somewhere around the 12,000 books mark.

Mines at 130 or something.
It used to be at like 200 something, but i got it down a bit.
Sarah wrote: "I never delete stuff off the cloud! not unless it's a duplicate. my current total is 12,912!"I was wondering how you managed to get 12k on your kindle! I completely forgot about the cloud.
I have 374 on the cloud, you have like 30x more. :)
15% into this now, and it just turned into a time traveler one!
I used to go a bit nuts. I could download like 200 free books a day, and I've had the kindle for 1yr 8 months now so I kind of ammassed quite a lot!
I bet your internet provider wanted to kill you then, lol! I've had mine since Christmas this year. Best investment ever.
I got mine the christmas before. Managed to kill it by october and had to get a kindle fire to replace it. the original kindle couldn't keep up with me.
I have the kindle paperwhite and love it. I got the 3 year insurance cover for it as well though, so if i have that problem i can get it replaced for free.
keeps changing paths. One minute, they went back in time, the next it's turned into
with mythology.
that does not sound good. you have to be a really talented author to pull off switching genres well.
Abbie wrote: "Just about to start

Just finished the second secret circle bindup. Might read the 4th book but im turned off from it since L.J did not write it.Now im starting the vibcent boys by abbi glines.

If it's the same ghost writer as the last few Vampire Diaries books, i wouldn't bother. They were really bad.
It still annoys me they sacked her from her own books. :(

It still annoys me that she never wrote the tenth night world novel. I've been waiting for like 14 years for it, and she keeps saying that she's writing it. it has yet to appear though.

Urgh, i know! I've been waiting for 6 years. I used to go on her fan site, and she said she was writing it, and was already at 600 pages. Then she said she was going to write another vampire novel (different from TVD), then another one to the forbidden games.
That was last year though, and she said she was going to write another 400 pages.
The release date keeps changing, and i;ve given up hope for it.
There is a first chapter available now, but I'm still not sure we'll ever get the whole book. if we do i might just die of shock.

I really loved the secret circle! But it was written in the 90's and the chances of her actually finishing it are probably really rare. I mean i would die of happiness if she did finish it lol but i have a feeling she wont. And if she does it wont be anytime soon. Whatever! If she never writes it i wont be super upset because the power ended good enough.
I really liked the secret circle too.My favorites are The forbidden games, Nightworld and Darkest powers, though. :)
I absolutely loved The forbidden games, because it reminded me so much of the movie Jumanji.
Angela wrote: "Why did L.J not write it and the ghost writer did? I never understood what happened with that."It was something about a contract. The contract she agreed to said something along the lines of, if she refused to write something how they wanted it, they could sack her.
She was new to the whole publishing thing then though, so she didn't know what she was signing up for.
A lot of people have said it's because she wanted Elena to end up with Damon in the end, and the publishers never.
Hm, that stinks. I never got into the VD because i watched the show before i knew that there was books. I always wanted elena with damon in the show though. Stefans an angsty whimp.
I havent read any other of L.J's books but im going to BAM tomorrow and im deffinantly looking for that series. Jumanji is one of my favorite movies!
