Starting Dance of Shadows (Dance of Shadows, #1) by Yelena Black I was really looking forward to read this, but i've seen alot of negative reviews from my GR friends. I'm really hoping i'm one of the people that like it.

It kind of reminded me of the Darkest Powers Trilogy which is also one of my favorite series. Lots of mystery and action like the Bourne Identity. Haha I loved it. A big factor that made me love the book, though, were the boys. AH.. the boys. :)

I did finished Meant to be but I also wasn't a big fan of it. To me, there wasn't anything wrong with the book but nothing special to it either.

These past days, I've read Born Of Illusion (Born of Illusion, #1) by Teri Brown and I really liked it but I'll admit that it lost a little exitement by the middle of the book. Also, I wished we got to know more about the main love interest.
I also read Endurance (Razorland, #1.5) by Ann Aguirre and really liked it. I love that Stone is not the usual y.a male interest. He's not the usual ''jerk'', full of condidence. He's insecure, naive and not very smart and he knows it. It's just nice to see a different kind of character in y.a. My only issue with the novella was that at times, it felt a little repetitive and redundant. The save events kept happening over and over...Also, some things felt a little rush but it wasn't that bad in comparison with most novellas I've read.

I also read my first Sophie Kinsella in years, Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella and I LOVED it.

I'm now reading The Iron Knight (Iron Fey, #4) by Julie Kagawa

I loved it! But there's a really gross scene in there.. It's just ugh. But the relationship between Caleb and Livvie is so interesting. And I have a question when you finish it: do you get the ending?
I really recommend it!

So true loll.

So I finished The Iron Knight (Iron Fey, #4) by Julie Kagawa and I really liked it. I still think that the characters of this series aren't as complex as I wish they were, and I hope the ones in Julie Kagawa's others series will be, but it was a fun read.

I also read both books in the Dance of the red death duology Masque of the Red Death (Masque of the Red Death, #1) by Bethany Griffin Dance of the Red Death (Masque of the Red Death, #2) by Bethany Griffin and I loooovvvveeeddd them. I guess I can never go wrong with a recomendation by Melissa Marr.

I'm now reading Saving June by Hannah Harrington

message 1687: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaitlins16) I'm reading Tattoos by Denise Mathew, and I hope to finish it early enough today so I can write a review for it and a few other books to submit for the June Stats.

It's a cancer book, so I'm ninety five percent that the character is going to die. I'm leaving five percent just in case the author decides to make the book not totally predictable.
