Exactly. The guy is ok for Daemon, but that's not how I visualize Katy.

Who doesn't want a happy ending for them?! Just kiding!

So, these past days I've read
Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1) by Robin LaFevers Amazing 5/5 and Origin by Jessica Khoury 3.5/5. Could have been better (check my review for some explanations) but I think Jessica Khoury has potential.

I'm about to start Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin, #2) by R.L. LaFevers or/and Erebos by Ursula Poznanski . I don't usualy start books that I just brought but I'm so exited abour those two that I just might make an exception.

Kate (kaitlins16) I'm glad to hear that about Grave Mercy. I have that on my Kindle. :)

Maybe it's because Daemon was on the cover of Obisidian and Katy wasn't. So we already made up our minds about her. I just imagined Katy a little rounder.

I agree with you. He's better than Jaxon :)

message 1316: by Kyra (new)

Kyra @Jona: I think he's perfect for Daemon !

Finished Opal (Lux, #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout , OMYGODTHEENDING. I thought it was a trilogy, and I just couldn't believe it ended this way. Good to know Origin's coming out in August (: I'm currently reading Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1) by Rachel Caine , it seems a little bit like chicklit, which I do not like .. Hoping it gets better though.

message 1317: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments So todat I finished Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin, #2) by R.L. LaFevers and I don't know if I would say like most people do that it's even better than Grave Mercy but it's just as good. I got a litle bored (just a little, maybe it was because I was tired!) at the end and while I thought it was completly different from Grave Mercy on many levels, I saw a lot of patterns in Robin's plots and I hope the next book(s) won't follow the same turn of events. Don't get me wrong, I looooveeeeddd it, and I think Robin is now of of my favorite writter but since she's so talented, I don't want her to go the ''easy'' road.

Also, while I loved him with all my heart, I would have liked it even more if Beast wasn't so ''perfect''. I love that Robin manage to make a good man ''hot'' but I love my characters with some flaws and Duval and Beast are both so perfect that it's almost (ALMOST!) annoying sometimes.

I've also started Dark Inside (Dark Inside, #1) by Jeyn Roberts and I really like it so far. I love to read those kind of book once in a while; full of suspens, people trying to survivre... It kinda reminds me of a mix between the movie The Crazies and it also have a ''Walking Dead'' (the show, not the comics, I haven't read yet so I don't know) feel.

Sometimes it's the journey that matters, not the destination! It's about how you get to the destination. And to be honest, the ending is pretty much easy to guess from the very first page of the book anyway.

And Greta, I'm not too sure, I'm pretty much in the mood for anything!

Karla | 103 comments Greta wrote: "Reading With All My Soul (Soul Screamers, #7) by Rachel Vincent and I peeked at the ending. How am I ever going to read it now? I could just kick myself, :/"

The ending is quite predictable but the scenes in between are what got to me the most. It was great overall, so many Hudson brothers feels haha

message 1329: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments Lol...I actually feel very conflicted about what Kaylee did at the end, so I am probably going to need to read it all to see if her "journey" to that point actually makes sense to me.

Right now I just have a hard time believing she did what she did and didn't come out completely altered/damaged. Yes, I know what Ira did to help her with that. But still...the author is making it seem like she can just pick up where she left off, that she wouldn't be irrevocably different bc of her experience :/

I haven't read Marcus' story, but I wasn't a huge Cage fan and Preston wasn't my favorite either. I think Novel is a Cage fan.
